Great China Region

IAC 2008 is expected to be a landmark event for the public aquarium industry particularly for China with its growing international significance and booming economy.

In an effort to share with its international peers on the development of the public aquarium industry in China, at the same time learn about the latest conservation projects, the IAC 2008 organizing committee (comprising of some of the best public aquariums in China), will be opening up their aquariums to all participants of IAC 2008!

Listed below are the Chinese public aquariums that will be involve in the IAC 2008 Greater China Aquarium Tour.

IAC 2008 participants who are interested to visit any of the above aquariums will need to get in touch with the respective aquariums directly. To find out who to contact, please click on the names of the respective provinces where these aquariums are found.

Visa Application

Visitors to China are generally required to apply for visas in advance. Find out more details on visa application, please refer to Visa page.

For participants who would like to include Hong Kong and Taiwan in their tour itinerary, please plan for these visits to be made before or after all visits on mainland China. Otherwise, please make sure that a multiple-entry China visa is being arranged.

Travel Arrangement

Our official group services agent – Shanghai Vision Expo & Meeting Solutions Co., Ltd, will be glad to provide group air and ground transportation, accommodation and sightseeing arrangements during your stay in China.

To make such arrangements, please note the following conditions:
■ A minimum group of 10 persons is required for such arrangements.
■ All bookings should be made no later than 15 August 2008.
■ Full payment must be made 30 days prior to your set-off date.
■ Participants are expected to make their China visa arrangements (or Exit-Entry Permit) if the         tour involves Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan regions.
